Tim Cook to host fundraiser for Paul Ryan

Tim Cook is scheduled to maintain a fundraiser for Dwelling Speaker Paul Ryan, just months just after Apple reportedly pulled its guidance from the Republican Countrywide Convention.

Cook will co-host the breakfast fundraiser with Apple’s treasurer, Gary Wipfler, according to Politico. The dollars lifted at the June 28 breakfast will profit Ryan and other Republican users of the Dwelling.

Cook is outspoken on a range of political problems, including LGBT legal rights and anti-discrimination legislation. It is probable that several of the policies proposed by presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump lifted eyebrows at Apple HQ and prompted the enterprise to withdraw its guidance from the convention (Apple has supported both of those the Democratic and Republican conventions in a long time previous).

Though Ryan has backed Trump’s presidential bid, he appears to be to nevertheless have misgivings about the candidate, referring to him as “racist.”

“It’s no solution that he and I have our differences,” Ryan wrote of Trump in his endorsement. “I will not fake usually. And when I feel the will need to, I’ll continue on to speak my brain. But the fact is, on the problems that make up our agenda, we have much more popular floor than disagreement.”

Cook is no stranger to political offering, and, like other tech CEOs, he donates to politicians in both of those parties. In accordance to FEC data, Cook gave dollars to President Barack Obama’s 2008 marketing campaign and has donated to both of those Democratic and Republican users of Congress.

Apple declined to comment on the fundraiser.
