In a post to its Disaster Response on Fb site, the company stated the errant notifications have been induced by an error: “This type of bug is counter to our intent. We worked promptly to resolve the concern and we apologize to anyone who mistakenly acquired the notification.”
Fb released Basic safety Check, which prompts consumers in spots influenced by disasters to say if they are alright, in October 2014. It’s a handy characteristic that promptly allows your Fb pals know if you are safe.
As an automatic method, however, Basic safety Check at times make issues that look insensitive, primarily immediately after key catastrophes.
